March 2015 Newsletter

We would like to use this newsletter to keep you updated on current events and plans of the Club.
Hopefully everyone enjoyed the local games this past Saturday. This is something we would like to continue once a month when we are not busy with league games. Events like this take planning and hard work from many volunteers. We will strive to make these local events organized as possible but understand things do not always go exactly as planned. Please don’t be upset if schedules change as we will do our best to keep changes to a minimum.
For anyone who doesn’t know Phoenix FC and Scorpions SC have combined efforts and are now Indian Wells Valley Soccer Club (IWVSC). What does this mean?
- One organized Soccer Club within Ridgecrest Community
- We aim to improve our coaches so we can continue to improve our players
- We plan to hold current practices until Five-A-Side Tournament
- Five-A-Side teams will be formed in the next week and practice will be Friday nights
- Fall Season and recruitment will start in June
- We will start collecting dues for Fall Season in June
- We plan for U11-U15 teams to compete in the Fall Lancaster Lalo League
- We will have multiple fundraisers in the upcoming months to help keep fees affordable
